Description: This authentic round military uniform button showcases a detailed, raised relief depiction of an albatross in full flight with its wings outstretched horizontally across the center. Directly above the bird rests the St. Edward’s Crown, universally recognized by collectors as the Queen’s Crown (QC), while the lower curve is anchored by the clean, bold initials "R.C.A.F." against a finely lined, horizontally textured background grid. Struck out of solid brass, the front face has aged into a rich, deep honey-gold luster, while the reverse is fitted with a secure loop shank and bears the crisp backmark of Canada's most historic military outfitter, Wm. Scully Ltd. Montreal.
