Material: Brass
Size: 25 mm
Description: This artifact is an authentic, large-sized Canadian Army General Service uniform button. The face features an intricately stamped design containing a central Canadian maple leaf, sharply framed by a circular garter belt. Embossed directly into this circular band is the historic Anglo-Norman Order of the Garter motto, "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (Shame on him who thinks evil of it). The entire central emblem is surmounted by a classic, curved Tudor-style King's Crown (KC), while the prominent country designation "CANADA" arcs cleanly across the very top border. This standard-issue brass button shows authentic minor surface oxidation, soft polishing wear from active field service, and remains unmarked on the reverse face with its attachment shank intact.
Circa: 1902–1952
