Description: The convex die-stamped brass piece features an integrated reverse fastening loop meant to secure it onto heavy duty wool fabric. The face design is centered around a beautifully detailed, multi-veined Canadian Maple Leaf enclosed cleanly within a circular garter band. The garter is stamped with the historic British Order of the Garter motto reading "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (Shame be to him who thinks evil of it) in elegant serif lettering. The central composition is surmounted by a prominent King's Tudor Crown (KC), while the territorial state name "CANADA" arcs gracefully along the top outer border line.
