Description: This vintage uniform component represents a small-size sleeve, cuff, or cap closure from the historic British Columbia Provincial Police (BCPP). Struck in robust gilded brass, the face displays the provincial shield featuring the Union Jack at the top, superimposed with a central crown, over a lower field containing a radiant demi-sun symbol. The upper perimeter is boldly stamped with the text "B.C." on the left and "POLICE" on the right, framing the central heraldic shield. The reverse side features a fixed copper fastening eyelet and is explicitly stamped by the renowned British military manufacturer, "Gaunt London".
