Canadian Forces Unified Tri-Service Cloth Badge

Under Review

Material: Embroidered cloth badge.

Size: 75mm w x 110mm h

Description: The insignia is an official unified command pattern blazer crest, beautifully hand-embroidered using textured metallic bullion wire and colored silk threads on a heavy black wool backing. The central oval vignette features a royal blue background layered with the gold tri-service symbols: a naval foul anchor, crossed army crusader swords with white hilts, and a soaring air force eagle with outspread wings. This central shield is bordered by a striking wreath of twelve vibrant red autumn maple leaves stitched in deep crimson silken thread. Symbolizing royal authority, a highly detailed St. Edward's Queen's Crown with a red velvet cap and green and blue emerald-beaded bands tops the entire design.

Circa: Post 1968

Notes:

This badge reflects the post-1968 unified identity of the Canadian Forces, combining naval, army, and air-force symbols in a single design. The maple-leaf wreath and crown place the insignia firmly within the Canadian national and service tradition.
