Description: This authentic Canadian military insignia is a standard issue uniform cap badge belonging to The Rocky Mountain Rangers, a primary reserve infantry regiment based in British Columbia. Struck from solid brass, the central design features a realistic, forward-facing head of a Bighorn Mountain Sheep framed entirely within a circular garter band that reads "ROCKY MOUNTAIN RANGERS". This central assembly is nestled inside a rich, multi-layered wreath of native Canadian maple leaves, surmounted by a Queen's (St. Edward's) Crown at the peak. An elegant banner scroll flows gracefully along the lower baseline, displaying the unique Chinook jargon regimental motto "KLOSHE NANITCH" (Keep a Good Lookout).
Reverse: Unmarked brass slider.
Circa: Post-1953
