Legion Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Pin

Under Review

Material: Enamel on gilt metal
Size: 20mm × 20mm
Description: This official Royal Canadian Legion anniversary pin is struck in a distinct horizontal diamond shape with a smooth, cream-colored enamel fill. The center of the layout displays the classic Legion emblem: a bright red maple leaf nested inside a blue ring, surmounted by a detailed St. Edward's Crown and sitting above a cluster of three small red poppies. Flanking this central crest are large black numerals spelling out "75," paired directly with the English designation "YEARS" on the left and the French translation "ANNÉES" on the right to represent the organization's bilingual heritage. The upper boundary of the gold frame cleanly displays the milestone date range "1926-2001," while the reverse side is anchored by an unmarked single post and clutch fastener attachment.
Circa: 2001
Notes:

The 75th anniversary pin holds a significant place in Canadian veterans' memorabilia because it honors the profound history of the Great War veterans who originally unified independent soldier groups in November 1925, leading to the formal chartering of the Canadian Legion in 1926.
