Under Review

Material: Embroidered cloth, cotton base.

Size: 60mm W x 95mm H
Description: This embroidered textile insignia is an official dress uniform blazer crest issued by the Royal Canadian Legion. The central layout features a finely stitched red maple leaf resting over a bright white cotton base background. Encircling the leaf is a golden border inscribed with the organization's official Latin remembrance motto, "MEMORIAM EORUM RETINEBIMUS" (We Will Remember Them). The bottom structure is anchored by a deep blue horizontal banner displaying the word "LEGION", which sits directly over three red remembrance poppies stitched into a gold oval base. The entire emblem is surmounted by a detailed Queen's (St. Edward's) crown rendered in gold thread with a bright red velvet cap insert. Measuring 60mm wide by 95mm high, the reverse side is an unmarked, plain fabric backing meant to be sewn directly onto navy blue service blazers.
Circa: Post 1953
