Description: This authentic piece of Canadian military insignia was manufactured for the service caps of junior ratings serving within the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). Measuring exactly 65mm by 65mm, the multi-piece composition features a gold-plated cluster of detailed maple leaves that wrap symmetrically around a central circular medallion. The core houses a polished gold-plated fouled anchor wrapped tightly in a turning mooring cable, set directly against a deep navy blue enameled background field. Surmounting the entire botanical structure is the royal St. Edward’s Crown, meticulously detailed with a bright crimson velvet insert cushion to signify official allegiance to the reigning monarch.
