Royal Canadian Engineers Elizabeth II Cap Badge

Under Review

Material: Bi-metal (gilt brass and white metal)
Size: 45 mm w × 47 mm h
Description: This authentic military insignia represents the non-combat engineering branch of the Canadian Armed Forces. The central device features a gilded brass garter inscribed with the Order of the Garter motto, Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, which surrounds the prominent cutout EIIR cypher honoring Queen Elizabeth II. Crowning the garter is the stylized Queen's Crown, which is seamlessly integrated into the top of the design. A highly detailed, frosted silver-toned wreath composed entirely of textured maple leaves encircles the central ring, anchored at the base by a sweeping brass scroll that boldly displays the unit designation, Royal Canadian Engineers. The back of the piece is fitted with a solid, unmarked vertical slider designed to securely anchor the award into the front band of a traditional service peaked cap or beret.
Circa: 1953–1968
