Description: This die-struck brass uniform insignia serves as the standard-issue dress cap badge for the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC). The design is bordered by a multi-pointed starburst pattern surmounted by a detailed Tudor crown. The central element features a circular garter inscribed with the historic Anglo-Norman motto Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, which frames a stylized, interlocking royal cipher reading GVIR for King George VI. Branch identity scrolls reading "Royal," "Canadian Army Service," and "Corps" are integrated directly into the lower starburst rays.
Reverse: Dual lug configuration with one lug missing; unmarked.
