Material: Brass
Size: 30mm w × 45mm h
Description: This authentic Canadian military insignia belongs to the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps (RCAMC), the administrative corps responsible for providing medical services to the Canadian Army. The central device features a bold, detailed Rod of Asclepius, a universal ancient symbol of healing and medicine, showing a single serpent winding smoothly around a vertical staff. A dense circular wreath consisting of ten textured Canadian maple leaves gracefully encircles this medical core. Surmounting the entire upper frame is the stylized Tudor King's Crown, while a broad, layered scroll layout anchors the base, clearly displaying the unit name ROYAL CANADIAN on the top deck and ARMY MEDICAL CORPS on the sweeping lower scroll. The piece is struck in a solid, bright golden-brass metal and features an unmarked reverse fitted with dual copper fastening lugs.
Circa: 1936–1952
