Description: This classic definitive postage stamp from Brazil (BRASIL-CORREIO) belongs to the long-standing "Netinha" portrait series honoring foundational historical statesmen. The central frame showcases a finely detailed, three-quarter portrait bust of Marshal Floriano Peixoto wearing his formal military dress uniform featuring embroidered collar patterns and prominent shoulder epaulets. The entire graphic presentation is printed in a clean, slate-blue ink against a standard off-white paper stock. A shared inscription panel spans across the top border, combining the country title and the postal function as "BRASIL - CORREIO". The denomination of Cr$ 5,00 (5 Brazilian Cruzeiros) is divided across the top corners, displaying the currency code "Cr$" on the left and the numerical value "5,00" on the right. His official title and name, "MAL. FLORIANO PEIXOTO", are formatted in a clean sans-serif typeface along the bottom frame line. This specific specimen exhibits a partial, dark branch-like postmark cancellation cutting down the upper-left quadrant and standard line-perforated borders.
