Description: This horizontal, rectangular stamp from Bolivia carries a face value of 50 centavos (printed as "50 cts." in the upper corners) and features a finely engraved scenic view of a tropical river landscape. The illustration captures the serene waters of a vast river system, bordered by dense jungle foliage and distinct palm trees along the riverbank, paying homage to the natural environment of Bolivia's lowlands. Across the upper frame, the country name "BOLIVIA" is flanked by the text "LEY DE 11 DE DICIEMBRE DE 1944" (Law of December 11, 1944), referencing the specific legislative authorization for the series. The large rectangular block at the base states "CENTENARIO DE LA CREACION DEL DEPARTAMENTO DEL BENI," which translates to the Centenary of the Creation of the Department of Beni. Printed in a deep monochromatic violet ink, the bottom margin bears the production credit "TALL. OFFSET LA PAZ," indicating it was printed locally in the capital city of La Paz.
