Sovereign in Uniform

Under Review

Description: The stamp features an engraved portrait printed in a distinct rose-carmine or deep pink ink against a light cream paper background. The central vignette portrays King Leopold III in a formal three-quarter profile facing right, dressed in a structured military service uniform complete with decorative rank insignia on his collar tab and patterned shoulder epaulets. The upper left and upper right corners are framed with the face value denomination "1 F 75". The bottom border anchors the composition with the prominent bilingual country designation "BELGIE BELGIQUE," which visually balances the nation's Flemish and French linguistic identities. The entire background is filled with a fine, mottled texture contained cleanly within a linear geometric border framing the design.
