British Commonwealth Queens Crown Rank Insignia

Under Review

Material: Staybrite (Anodized Aluminum)

Size: 30mm w x 30mm h

Description: This circular uniform insignia features a stamped St. Edward’s Crown—popularly known as the Queen's Crown—mounted securely to a round, khaki-brown compressed fiber and fabric backing disc. The highly reflective crown displays detailed beadwork along its arches, a textured velvet velvet cap simulation, and a precise cross pattée crowning the top apex. The reverse features dual vertical fixing lugs that pass cleanly through the backing plate, held fast by a cotter pin assembly for stable attachment to a service dress sleeve. Crafted from lightweight anodized aluminum or "Staybrite" material, this badge completely bypasses the need for manual polishing or liquid abrasives.

Circa: Post-1953

Notes:

This specific 30mm size represents the standard insignia worn on the lower sleeve of the service dress or combat jacket to denote the rank of Warrant Officer Class II (WO2) or a Company Sergeant Major.
