Description: This striking decimal denomination postage stamp was released by Australia Post as part of its annual holiday issues program. Designed by acclaimed Australian artist Erica McGilchrist, the artwork presents a highly stylized, decorative cross filled with bold yellow, purple, and black shapes. At the absolute center sits a distinctive red and black circular motif, while bright yellow star-like configurations radiate from the corners of the cross. Printed using a clean photogravure process by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), the stamp features crisp white borders, a bold 25-cent denomination in the upper corners, and a clean typography layout at the bottom.
