Description: This vintage definitive postage stamp from Argentina is printed in a vibrant, monochromatic orange-red vermilion ink on an off-white cream paper stock. The central vignette features a highly detailed, finely engraved profile portrait of María Eva Duarte de Perón, affectionately known as Evita, facing to the right with her hair styled in her iconic sleek chignon. Flanking the portrait are two elegant vertical borders featuring stylized floral or grain patterns, with laurel-like motifs on the left and oak leaf elements on the right. The upper left corner displays the denomination "20c" signifying twenty centavos, balanced by the word "CORREOS" across the upper right. Her name "EVA PERON" is subtly inscribed just beneath the portrait, while the country name "ARGENTINA" is boldly stated along the bottom banner. The physical specimen displays standard comb perforations and carries a distinct, thin horizontal black ink postal cancellation mark cutting across the lower third of the design.
